On December 11th, 1999 the Missouri State Fraternal Order of Police continued its path towards the future by cutting the ribbon and dedicating the new state lodge office. The office, located only blocks from the capitol in Jefferson City, will be an asset for members for years to come.

"We finally have a place to call home," said State President Tom Mayer. "It took many years, many fine leaders and a supportive membership to get where we are today."

The office is staffed during business hours and serves as a resource center for Missouri members. This is the first time that the Missouri State FOP has owned their own building.

Conference Room

Meeting Room

As of April of 2002 the remodeling of the basement at the State Lodge building has been completed. For those of you who never visited the State Office, the basement was an unusable and uninhabitable old-fashioned basement. With the rehab, we now have a large meeting room that will comfortably seat about 75 people, 2 additional bathrooms, a kitchenette and ample storage. With this addition our value has increased, according to out insurance carrier, about 45%. Besides the financial advantage, we will now be able to hold all of our Board of Trustee meetings in our own facility, ending the need to have to rent hotel space and transfer equipment back and forth from the proceedings. The building has already been used during the Memorial and for our last Day on the Hill. In the future, we will be hosting political events on a regular basis, furthering the influence that the FOP now has in Jefferson City.
