Every year the Missouri State Lodge hosts the annual memorial services in Jefferson City, Missouri the week prior to the National Police Memorial services. Services are open to the public and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these solemn services to honor and remember our fallen officers.

The 20th Annual Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Service will be held at the Law Enforcement Memorial located on the grounds of the State Capitol on Saturday, May 7, 2011 beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Please plan on arriving 30-45 minutes prior to the service to allow for set-up.  Lunch will be served immediately following the ceremony at St. Peter’s Church just west of the Memorial.

There is a Candlelight Vigil held on Friday evening preceding the Memorial Service at 8:00 PM at the Law Enforcement Memorial.

We have negotiated a rate at the Truman Hotel and at Capitol Plaza for the two nights of the Memorial. Be sure to indicate that you are with the FOP memorial and are requesting that rate.

If your lodge will be in attendance and plans to present a wreath, please notify the State Lodge by mail, email or faxed to this office.

We look forward to having your lodge represented at this important event to honor all of Missouri’s law enforcement officers who have made the supreme sacrifice.
